WIN TWO INSPIRATIONAL BOOKS

Here at The Food Marketing Experts, we are big on supporting campaigns that are close to our hearts and minds. Being an agency made up of predominantly women (working mums), International Women’s Day couldn’t be closer to our thoughts. Why you may be asking. Because it’s all about “celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women – while also marking a call to action for accelerating gender balance”. The campaign hashtag #balanceforbetter encourages the nation to collectively strive for a gender-balanced world, whilst celebrating women’s achievements.

We’ve been thinking about what means most to us, and here are some ways we will be balancing for better this year.

We have the pleasure of working with a host of successful women throughout the food and drink industry. We know work plays a huge part in their life, and like most of us, it can often become the primary focus. With International Women’s Day in mind, this got us thinking (somewhat out of the box) – with women taking such an active role at work and home, what is the best way to achieve a work-life balance? With more companies adopting flexible working patterns and giving employees the opportunity to work from home, we asked a few of our close working friends how they strike a balance between work and home life. Here are some of their top tips for 2019 – we might just adopt a few of these ideas ourselves.

A big thanks to…..
